About this place
A sip of cloudy sake, its grains fizzing in the glass. One diner described a soft texture followed by a pronounced finish—a taste of the kind of pleasure Kinoji offers. There are more than 45 kinds of sake, served in 110 ml or 180 ml pours. Choose a smaller serving to try a few, or a larger one to linger over a favourite. If you are unsure what to order, consider the house-exclusive “Kino-Ji Paisen Z”: listed as a sake specially commissioned from Koimari Shuzo in Saga. The menu also features “P-Hi”, a carbonated version.
The small-plate selection ranges from drinks-friendly bites such as smoked daikon pickle with cream cheese and fermented squid innards with natto to lamb and bean stew. The stew is listed with baguette, making it an option whether you want a light snack or a more substantial meal. One diner reported ordering lamb mapo tofu alongside cloudy sake. It is not confirmed as a regular menu item, but given the other lamb dishes on offer, you could ask what the staff recommend when you visit.
Dine-in is available, and the restaurant is described as suitable for solo diners. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00, and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Payment is cash only.
